Maycee's frist plane ride

We are happy to report that Maycee is a natural! She took her first flight on Friday morning and did just great. We were lucky enough to get an extra seat so she could kick back in her carseat and we could relax too. Unfortunately, on the way home (which was a longer flight because of head wind) I had to hold her the whole flight...she was asleep most of the flight and didn't really cry when she was awake, but there isn't much room in those little coach seats. I miss first class already...but my baby is worth it.

New Pictures...

Little Maycee had her first photo shoot last week. Little Angels Photography (http://www.littleangelsphoto.com/) did a great job, and gave us a lot of options, we really liked how they turned out. Here are a few of our favorites....

Is it sad that I think she is so cute when she cries?

Introducing Maycee Jane Anderson !!!!!!

.

After 12 hours of labor and 1 hour of intense pushing, our stubborn little Maycee Jane finally let go and came into the world smiling (2 weeks early). She weighs 7 pounds 4 ounces, and is 19 inches long. The hospital was full of family and friends last night, and for that we are thankful (sorry you all had to watch KC cry all night). She has a ton of hair, Sally lips, and a KC chin. She slept through the whole night in the nursery (they actually had to wake her up to make her eat), and was the only baby the entire night that did not cry! She loves her Mom and Dad and opens her eyes wide when she hears our voices. She is a little piece of heaven on earth, and we couldn't be happier! We love you Maycee Jane!

PS- Our 3 year old nephew Jack was asked, "How will the baby get out of Sally's tummy?" to which he quickly replied, "Out her hole, on the grass". Smart kid!

We could be in Trouble!!!

For those of you who don't know...KC's parents own Fetal Fotos. So, this has given us the opportunity to get to see our little one quite a few times during the pregnancy. We had the last scan before she will come the other day and she was fighting it a little bit. Then we saw this:

If you can't tell, she is sticking her tongue out at us! To be honest, we thought it was pretty funny that we caught it. But as we thought about it after, we got a little nervous thinking we may have a little attitude on our hands! Guess that is the territory when it comes to girls...that means trouble!!
