Homesick...

I went with my Dad and brothers to the Utah/Louisville game way back in September...It made me a little homesick for the great job I had at the U and all the people I used to work with. I realized how much I really miss all the crazy stress of football season and all the fun we had in the office and working the games. Then I remembered why I wasn't doing all of that anymore...and it was worth it!

The reason for it all!!
Her favorite place to sit is on the step up to the landing at the bottom of the stairs. Take note of the pigtails...cute huh??

All the "Fall" stuff

We are a little behind, but I wanted to make sure to include all our October activities. So, here they are in the correct order...so start from the bottom if you want to see them in order. There are A LOT of pictures...sorry about that!

Costume Fun

I didn't realize until this year that there are SO many other times for kids to wear their costumes than just Halloween night. Maycee was just learning the ropes this year, so she only dressed up three times. First, we headed to the Daybreak trunk or treat...next it was the trunk or treat at KC's parents ward...and finally Halloween (not just the night, pretty much all day).

Pumpkins everywhere!

There is a great pumpkin patch down the street from our house. Such a fun tradition we started last year with the Osmonds! Maycee loved the wheelbarrow and the corn maze. Didn't seem to care which pumpkin we chose for her...but tried to pick up few that were the same size as her. Thanks for the fun night Osmonds!
Maycee rarely lets kids hold her had...so cute! These two are such good friends!

Hop in for a ride Dad...

Let me just pick up this one...
Paityn came to help pick it up.

Showing me which way to go in the corn maze...
Maycee was obsessed with the tractors...guess we have country gal on our hands!

Which old Witch?

Just like most every one in the Salt Lake Valley we headed over to Gardner Village to take a gander a the witches. Maycee wasn't too excited about the witches...pretty scared of them actually. By the end she was okay with them as long as there was a fence between her and those crazy looking ladies!!

Classic photo...
Maycee is FREAKING out cuz she it too close to the witch
Bailey's just chillin in her hot sunglasses and
Bridger is checkin' out the witch
LOVE these kids!!
Maycee thought this witch was REALLY silly!!
Until next year ladies...

Red, Gold, Yellow, Orange

We took a little drive up Millcreek Canyon one Sunday to see the leaves. It was gorgeous, but we realized we may need to go a bit sooner next year. Maycee loved picking up all the leaves and splashing in the cold creek!
Utah in the Fall...doesn't get much better than this!!

We're All Together Again...

Sally's Dad's side of the family has a hard time getting everyone (or at least a large majority) together. So when it happens it needs to be documented. On Labor Day weekend (I know it was a while ago) we all got together for some eating, playing and lots of chatting. So great to see all of you!! Hope its not too long before it happens again!!
Maycee & Sophia loved the slide!!

Its a sign...

She fell asleep like this while we were on a little stroll around Daybreak

I guess mom talks on the phone a little too much! She will walk around with her play phone and jabber a bunch then say "bye". She loves having a phone up to her ear and if she is sad, playing with grandmas i-phone or watching t.v. on my phone will make her happy again. Love this girl!!

A little stinky, hot, lots of walking = the zoo

What would a summer be without a trip to the zoo? Maycee first experience at the zoo was pretty much the norm. We saw most of the animals, made appropriate noises for each animal, and took a train ride. We only got to see one of the new babies, so maybe we will have to make another trip before the snow comes.
