Pace Wedding
KC's little sister tied the not on Friday August 13th. We are so excited for Katie and so happy to welcome Adam into the Anderson clan! The day was beautiful just like the bride and the festivities were non-stop. Congratulations you two...we love you!!
The night before we had a fun fiesta dinner...complete with Cafe Rio and a pinata.
By far my most favorite picture I have ever captured of these two!!!

One month
Layla is growing like a weed! So weird to think a whole month has passed since graced us with her pressance. She is kind of a fussy little one...still getting the whole sleeping thing figured out, but we are loving her and helping her out the best we can. Love you baby Lou Lou.

The girls...
Our very talented friend and neighbor Joy took some newborn pictures of Layla and two year old pictures of Maycee. She was able to get some really good shots of them alone...but putting them together was a little harder. We did end up with a couple good ones though...thanks Joy!! (sorry for the picture overload-loved way too many!!!)

How she arrived...
Layla Ruby Anderson came to us around 5:00 pm on July 9th. After being induced and chillin' in the hospital for about 5 hours...it was time to push. Sally pushed four times, through 2 contractions, for 10 min and she was here! Such a contrast to Maycee...apparently Layla was ready. Makes sense, she was a whopping 8lbs 11oz! It was fun to have family there to meet her right away and so fun to see how Maycee first reacted to her little sister. The first night in the hospital ended up being a little rough...Layla wasn't eating very well and threw up everything she did get down. They ended up having to run extra tests, including a blood draw. At around 2 am the nurse finally let us know that she had amniotic fluid in her stomach and they had to pump her stomach...so sad. She was a happier and better eating baby after so I guess it was worth it. The rest of our stay at the hospital was pretty much routine with lots of visitors and we headed home on Sunday July 11th to begin our life as a family of four! (sorry about all the pictures...)

We had so many visitors! Thank you so much to all our friends and family that took time to come see us and meet Layla...we love you all!!
